YMCA Camp Coffman is a 240 acre camp owned and operated by the Oil City Area YMCA. Camp Coffman is in a natural wooded setting with a unique swinging bridge over East Sandy Creek. Hiking trails on the property lead to Deer Rock, Balancing Rock and throughout the forest. You can choose from five cabins or the bunkhouse for overnight stays or there is Tipi camping too. Activities for your group, family and friends include: two zip lines, a climbing tower, a challenge course and trail rides which must be arranged and paid for in advance. While a guest at camp, you my enjoy the camp grounds, trails and all the natural beauty camp has to offer.
While cabins may be rented throughout the year, the zip line, climbing wall, challenge course and trail rides are seasonal April 15 through October 15, depending on the weather.
YMCA Camp Coffman is just minutes from the area's paved "Rail Trails." Camp Coffman is 5 miles from the Sandy Creek Trail Head which connects to the Allegheny River Trail and the Samuel Justus Trail. Visit www.avta-trails.org for local bicycle rail trail information and maps.
